Benefits of Sea Salt

Sea salt is beneficial to the skin. Skin absorbs sea salts, vitamins and any other substances it comes into contact with. It is universally accepted that sea salts can have a wonderful effect on circulation and metabolism.

Sea salts contain many minerals beneficial to the body. Magnesium is important for both combating stress and fluid retention, slowing skin aging and calming the nervous system. Calcium is effective at preventing water retention, increasing circulation and strengthening bones and nails. Potassium energizes the body, helps to balance skin moisture and is a crucial mineral to replenish after intense exercise. Bromides act to ease muscle stiffness and relax muscles. Sodium is important for lymphatic fluid balance (this is important for the immune system).

So we can see that bathing in high quality sea salts could replenish the minerals vital to our skin metabolism.  When combined with the relaxing properties of hot water the benefits increase again. Aromatic baths can provide relief from stress and anxiety, assist with joint and muscle pain, and treat the symptoms of more severe skin conditions. The therapeutic benefits of salt baths are well known and often recommended by doctors for treating a wide range of medical conditions.

Never leave a candle unattended or near curtains,walls,pets ect. never burn a candle more than 4 hours at a time

Smelly Jelly contains Fragrance Oils and Preservatives which may be harmful if swallowed. SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION IF YOUR CHILD EATS THESE!

use DISTILLED water -As your jelly starts to shrink you may add more distilled water. Once the scent is no longer strong enough add more fragrance oil. To keep your smelly jelly from becoming moldy it is a good idea to add a tablespoon of alcohol every time you add water. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR DRAINS – IF YOU DO FLUSH DRAINS WITH WATER THAT HAS LOTS OF SALT ADDED TO IT you can even pour salt directly in the drain – SALT MELTS SMELLY JELLIES. PLEASE NOTE: If you think your smelly jelly is not working in a room - Walk out of the room to the outside take a deep breath and then come back in chances are your senses have gotten use to the fragrance and once you come back in you will again be able to sense the fragrance in the air. For a more intense fragrance release place on a candle warmer or coffee cup warming plate. For large rooms such as living rooms or large bedrooms I suggest 2 - 3 smelly jellies.                                     *****************************************
